From DLA to PIP - sending tribunal form

Hiya everyone - my son has had DLA for the last 14 years - (he's 17 in 5 months) and I was told in Aug 2017 to apply for PIP instead, as his award was being reviewed. ASOS assessor scored him 0 (zero) for everything and PIP application was turned down.
Mandatory review was also turned down and I have to send tribunal form by 9th Feb, their decision letter took a week to get to me, leaving 18 days and I have waited 10 days to speak to our GP so time is short!! lol
Anyway, could someone please tell me (apart from MR decision letter) what else I need to send with the letter SSCS1? - can I send other documents as evidence (photocopies) proving that the assessor was inaccurate as well as my sons medical appointment letters and so on? or do I send them later or take them to the appeal - unsure thanks for any help.

Hello @debs01, and welcome to the community. It is good to have you here.
Very, very sorry to read of what you're being put through. Whilst I don't have specific answers to your questions, I'm going to put in here a link to a section Talk about PIP/DLA. http://https//community.scope.org.uk/categories/talk-about-pip-dla
I notice a number of recent posts that may be of help to you. You could also try the 'Ask a benefits advisor' forum, since it's clear you're working on a tight schedule. https://community.scope.org.uk/categories/ask-a-benefits-advisor
There are plenty of good people and resources on here and I have no doubt you will get more explicit advice very soon.
Hope the links help. Please let me know how you get on.
Welcome again, and warmest best wishes to you,

Hi @debs01
It could help your appeal if you add any more documents that support the information you have given. However, you shouldn't delay sending the form off as any evidence you are still waiting for can be sent in later.
I have moved this post over to our Talk about PIP/DLA so that other members can give some useful advice.
We have a lot of useful information about appealing a DWP benefits decision on our website, including some resources on tribunals. You may find the following videos of interest:
