Pip tribunal fear

Hi everyone. I had my pip reduced on review and the MR failed too. I'm currently waiting for the tribunal. I'm seriously thinking about withdrawing the appeal to tribunal. If I do this what would happen to my current award? Would the dwp just let my current award run it's course 4 years or would they start picking on me because I've upset them by even thinking about a tribunal. My conditions are degerative.

Your current award will continue as normal if you cancel the appeal. Are you aware that those that have either a telephone/video or face to face hearing have about 68% success rate? It would be a shame to cancel it now but of course it's your decision.

Hi Poppy thank you for your quick response. Yes I'm aware of the success rates but I'm having panic episodes in the middle of the night. I'm not sleeping. I'm so scared I could end up with less award also.0

If they plan on removing points they will warn you before doing this. They won’t just remove points. They will either send a letter before your hearing or they will warn you on the day of hearing. If it’s the day of the hearing, it will be adjourned so that you can go away and decide what you want to do. If you decide not to proceed you can then cancel it completely.0

Woodbine yes I have asked all the GPS at my surgery for sleeping pills but they all refuse and over counter pills don't work for me. Poppy thank you for your advice I feel a bit more relaxed about it all for now. 😊0

This should help people not to so afraid of the tribunal who are there to help because the dwp refused to help you.
