Hi @Agnia, I can see lots of good advice for you here, I am so sorry you are going through this, the only thing I could add is, if you are on Facebook, it is worth to add yourself to local groups, there are always good people trying to help, so if you would ask if anyone has nice rooom or flat to rent, you might find something nice. Or at least meet new, nice people in that local group. I know all changes in life are very stressful, but looks like you need change. I am sorry again.0

@Superbetty Thank you for response im sorry i don’t use Facebook and im having difficulty for walking outside, im staying the whole time in this room , im sorry it not possible for me to organise it0

I am so sorry @Agnia...Poppy here gave you lots of good advice, I know you feel drained, but if you want to change something, unfortunately you need to make small steps towards it. Just little thing everyday maybe, just plan at least one phone call or form, or letter for next day...Is there anyone you can ask for help? Anyone? People here mentioned few institutions like CAB, it is all very helpful, but you NEED TO REACH OUT for help, otherwise noone will know about you. I know it is hard, but you need to do it for yourself. I really hope you know at least one person living close to you, who can help you anyhow. You mentioned you were working, maybe someone from work? Does not have to be close friend, just someone you liked. People are better than you think, if you ask for help, you are likely to get it:-)I wish you all the best, I know it must be very hard for you, please try to make these small steps everyday to help yourself, and please, reach out for help, like I said, lots of good advice here for you.3

@Superbetty im sorry people from my work will not help me really everyone is busy in London
my anxiety is really high0 -
If you don’t reach out for help, it’s not just going to come to you. You’ve been given the same advice over and over again but you’re not taking that advice.
Is there any reason why you haven’t yet referred yourself for a needs assessment? You can also speak to your GP and they will make the referral for you.1 -
i was asking gp about it she said that the lady who works like social prescriber will call me but she didn’t0
-
im scared to death that they will take me to care home0
-
They will not take you to a care home, why do you think they will do that?I did advise this previously that the needs assessment will be to assess your needs and to see where any help can be given. (if any) However, you can’t have the needs assessment unless you refer yourself or ask your GP to do it.It feels like we are going round in circles.0

Purrrrrrr said:I posted a post here 5 mins or so ago and I know it posted as I edited it a couple of times and now it's gone? Was it removed and if so why, if not, where did it go?
I don't believe anything was wrong with it, just my experience of what happened when I did a self-referral. and how easy it all was to get the help I needed. The only ones that can completely remove a comment are the scope team. Members can edit their comments up to 59 minutes after they posted, after this time only the scope team can edit them.I'm wondering if your comment get caught up in the spam (which sometimes happens) it may have seemed like your comment was posted but it disappeared. I remember this happened just a few days ago. I was commenting on a new thread but which i clicked to post it the comment was gone. I knew the thread was there, otherwise i wouldn't be commenting in the first place lol. When a member of the team came online it was then reposted.I'll tag members of the scope team for you and they will hopefully solve this for you. @Adrian_Scope @Cher_Scope @Alex_Scope can you help here please.1 -
@Purrrrrrr, apologies it was picked up by our overly keen spam filter so put in a queue for the team to review. I’ve approved your comment (and another you had pending).
Thank you for the tag @poppy1234562 -
@Purrrrrrr I’m glad that you got really good help from your needs assessment. I think you are giving really good advice about self-referring like you did. Also you are right about there being lots of different housing options like warden assisted places.
You are right no one will get taken in to a care home just like that, against their will. Social services always look at support at home and other options first. Also I just wanted to reassure the OP or anyone else wondering about care homes, that even if someone did have the need to live in one they are not bad like some people think they are. I’ve always lived in care homes and you get nice housemates to be friends with and nice staff, and also activities and going out and support to do volunteering or paid work. It’s just like living as part of a family. Lots of care homes these days are not huge, some only have 3 or 4 residents. Even with more residents it is fun to have birthday parties together and to always have a friend to have a cup of tea with whenever you are lonely.1 -
im not coping with loineless and that my family didn’t want to see me
i will not cope on wheelchair the anxiety will kill me then0 -
Has your doctor given you an indication of when you might need a wheelchair or if there are any other treatments or alternatives available to explore first?0
-
i really wanted to improve my relationship with the family and was asking to get the chance
its not possible for me to cope with this situation because it’s too much
i remember when my brother did write to me “ don’t say that you have to work “
its really sad for me because i did work a lot and i had a very serious responsibilities on my shoulders from my work i liked my work but also caused depression burnout anxiety i was responsible for other people
its really hard that i cannot see my family it’s killing me
i was thinking maybe i can take my passport and go there ( but im not able to do it on my own) and im feeling shameful how i look and about my mental and physical condition and if they don’t open the door for me i can sit somewhere on the street
because they said they don’t want me there0 -
