Is anyone else packing their 5 a day in I've 3 of my 5 so far1
-
@Sandy_123 nice question I am trying to do this without going overboard on stuff like orange juice because it has a lot of calories

I'm doing it with fresh fruit and veg, weigh in is in 10 days, for me. I'm loving the fact my body is getting more nutrients now. Plus fibre and proteins2

Well done everyone yous are all doing great keep it up.
Poppy that’s an amazing achievement well done, it’ll be well worth it with all the great things you have coming up.

@66Mustang @Sandy_123 @Lou67 thank you all! Sandy, i always find it very difficult to get my 5 day, dispite having a side of veg or salad for tea and a piece or 2 of fruit at some point during the day. It hasn't affected my weight loss so that's a good thing. Some fruit has a lot of natural sugar so eating a lot of it isn't good either lol or so i'm told. Then we come back to the "you should eat or drink this because it's not good for you"Agree that personal trainers are expensive because i've had one about 18 months ago. It's cheaper if you can find another person to share with, providing the PT agrees to split the cost between both of you so you pay half each.0

I know with the sugars but my thinking is a banana sugars are better then a slice of lemon cake sugars. Ohhh cake what ever were all doing its working well1
-
I read that fruit sugars are such that in nature when we could only get fruit and not cakes/chocolates etc. if you gorged yourself on fruit and ate too much you'd throw it up before the sugar became too much, but with cakes and chocolate you can easily eat too much without being sick. It's to do with fruit being available in nature and chocolate/cake isn't.1

Since I've been doing this my 7th week this week, my blood sugars are more stable. They were very high b4 dangerously high. I spoke with the diabetic nurse earlier on the phone. My blood tests are on 1st Sept. So we will see what results are1
-
Good luck @Sandy_1231
-
They better be @66Mustang otherwise I'm buying chocolate cake and eat it like that kid in matilda lol2

@Sandy_123
Hahahaha aww that was cake eating if ever I’ve seen it 😂
Seriously though you have been doing so well so hopefully everything will be much better with your blood levels. ❤️2 -

-
Hi @ricky1040 that's a great loss already. I'm the same limited in exercise, can't use gyms anymore and most I can do on good days is a short walk .
But we'll done1 -
@Sandy_123 thankyou and its hardwork. I was real bad for pain last. Ight and decided to have a midnight feast. Whoops1
-
@ricky1040 that's fine there's no rules to say you can't eat when u want. Are the pain killers not helping1
-
@Sandy_123 long story on the medication front. They do help but they make me sleepy and so i just cant do exercise when like that. I was on a different med but it really messed me up in other ways so gad to stop.1
-
Its a nightmare getting the right medication to suit, trials and errors, hopefully this one settles down a bit1
-
Yesterday I weighed myself and I lost more than half a stone.2
