Always been a skin picker from being really small. I can remember when I was little it started with my feet. Then feet and scalp . Then fingers and fingers nails and toes and toenails.

Thank you, its hard fir me at times in this uncertain depressing times. I've been through counselling, having waited 4 years on the waiting list. Going through loss of family member s in a short amount of time. And other problems caused by others. Losing friends who weren't supportive , even though I was there for them. The uncertainty of our benefits. I am trying to be positive, taking one step at a time. Despite my health problems, autism.
I.was reading how we are focused on the negative. The way humans are. To try one line of gratitude each day. However small.

I feel same @Andi66 i am so deeply depressed and constantly let down by people that I have given so much to, life is unbearable for me, I hate the way my mind works and I am completely unable to cope with the awful things life has thrown at me. It’s a battle every single day.

That's what I have to do sometimes. Just one thing a day. Even if it's just an affirmation or two. Just to remind me of some good things.

Getting worried about the assessment. Keep thinking I've done the wrong thing for asking for an assessment 😕

sorry to hear that you are struggling @Strawberry1 ☹️ just take each day at a time, just focus on getting through one day at a time, also when I’m really really depressed or deeply frustrated I have to take each hour at a time, which I have found really helps me. As for you assessment I think it’s better to know if you have autism rather than being left uncertain. I found that it explained so many things in my life and it really helped reading up on autistic traits making me not feel so alone, I used to think that, there was something really wrong with me and that nobody else in the world was as screwed up as me.

I can feel very low at times myself, I'm also one for over apologising (wish I could stop)

I feel very similar to you @DJS7P , basically the same.

I am constantly apologising even when it’s completely unnecessary. Nice knowing it’s not just me that does this all the time.

I'm really glad you are here @Kali85 ❤️ , knowing you helps me feel less alone. I'm still getting used to this forum. Would love to chat to more people like people here if that is ok . I wouldn't want to burden anyone. More insight would help me feel less uncomfortable with my assessment. Please just let me know if it is ok to be here. Thanks. If I don't reply straight away I will reply eventually. Thank you in advance.
