It really just sounds like they haven't made any true concessions, they're just trying to make it look better but it will still be a devastating bill.
The 4 point thing should be scrapped entirely if not the whole plan.

Perhaps I should, been thinking about it for a few years but I was scared about it. Now all this is happening.

I agree with you 100% but the Bill is expected to be a Money Bill according to the Director & Head of Research at the Hansard Society. It will be interesting/ terrifying to see the Order Paper.

You watch, they will be brutal with new claims for pip now!

The system will be overwhelmed within new claims from lwrca to get on pip and I don't blame them

Go for it whilst it's not as scary as it might become. So many folks here have done it and we've survived. You have this whole Community on your side.

Existing claimants will be unaffected.

Knowing Labour they'll rebrand/rename pip then bang goes the protection for existing claimants

I would of liked more concessions on the scc as us with invisible and fluctuating conditions may not be eligible

I hope they vote it down not just for us but to get him out . You see how long the backlog will grow now as claims will rise before next year . If you don’t get pip I’d apply now

Definitely do it . It gives you time to fight MR etc if you need to . Plus if it doesn’t work out I think you can apply again

Apply now . Give yourself enough time to appeal if you needed to . I think you can also try again if it fails . I don’t know all the rules but definitely put your form in 👍

Thank you! I'd better seriously get to it if I'm going to try.

It's so stressful already and then they add all this nightmare on top of us. Are you going to apply for PIP?
Thank you, I think I will. I'm just so nervous about it all. Got to try to get in to see my GP next week too hopefully.

I'm confused. So with them saying existing claimants will be 'grandfathered in', as in the new rules won't affect them (so they say), does that include those currently on LCWRA?
This is confusing because I thought they were dropping the whole WCA and looking like they wanted to get rid of LCWRA entirely.
