what's the latest with MP's who are still backing the amendment - how many ?
also with meg hillier backing the concessions wont she be withdrawing the amendment ?

I’m confused as that was already a concession. They’ve said we will stay under old rules forever as long as we qualify. They already said we get 13 weeks TP . And we knew we would remain in the old rules until next November

All this talk of PIP, what about those on ESA? I’m on contribution based support group, are we still getting thrown in to the fire? I’ve never claimed PIP because it terrifies me. These really are the worst times to be alive.

The guardian, sorry I still can’t by pass paywall but if anyone can post screenshots on here would be appreciated. I think there’s a few different reports

Hi, good they had it coming, a bit of Karma at least !!

Hope they’re not feeling too “ bluesy”

Didn't they say LCWRA current claimants keep it only if 'severely disabled'? It's no different to what they were already saying.
I think they're going to screw us over in the Autumn budget. From what they're saying now about the cost. So when taxes rise in Autumn it'll be our fault in everyone's eyes.

Same for me and Passerby too, the lot of us in the same situation and largely forgotten on the ESA/LCWRA side.

There has been not mention of this whatsoever. Concerning.

Thanks for replying. I hate this torture they’re putting us through. This is why I’ve been reluctant to claim PIP, all the anxiety it causes. I’m on my own, have no support and
I’m terrified, I have the worst anxiety at the best of times, and all of this worry has amplified my conditions, my atrial fibrillation has never been so bad.1 -
Reading comments I’m so confused by all this.
so when I’m reviewed in 2027 I won’t be protected and will be assessed under the new 4 point rule despite them saying I will be assessed under current conditions as I’m existing claimant.
Don’t know whether I’m coming or going.

Maybe I'm being dense but I'm reading as any changes will affect new claimants … effectively creating a two tier system ?
Not sure what's happening with LWRCA claimants needing to be awarded PIP to qualify
1 -
I read it as you’ll be reviewed under the current system.

Yes the current system that i am aware of to?
But if you were to fail the assessment and you get the final 13 weeks PIP, but not sure how this works if you were to go to tribunal to get your award back? the 13 week bit does worry me little with our rights to appeal?
the LWRCA part that i am aware of is for new claims so after 2026/november those on severely disabled but does not affect current claimants until 2029.
It is all rather confusing.

They are so sneaky with this.
let's hope this does not pass on tuesday!

I think if your already in the system and have been on pip and your award has ended then you get a reassessment it doesn't class as a new claim as you get a small form to fill in near end of award asking if you still warrant pip then a phone call some time later as what just happened to me. Hopefully I'm correct 🤞
