Not too bad thanks @Nightcity

no I haven't explained already.
Back in April I couldn't walk I kept falling over and losing my balance, I lost muscle mass in my calfs and couldn't get an appointment with my GP for six weeks.
I thought I had MND and it wss game over so I was having panic attacks as many as 30 a day
once I did finally see the GP blood tests gave me the answer dangerously low folic acid and vitamin D. I was given the sertraline to reign in the panic attacks which the news of not having mnd combined with sertraline they stopped and not had one for months.
I now don't think I require remaining on it.

Thanks for taking the time to explain. I'm sorry to read that happened to you but I'm glad you found out what the cause was and was able to receive the correct help, I'm also glad that the medication helped with the panic attacks and that you don't have them anymore, cross fingers it remains that way when you do come off of them.

Thanks I'm always happy to chat about my issues and experiences.
I'm on both vitamin D and folic Acid till at least mid 2025. I had a bowel cancer scare almost immediately after that incident thankfully that was also benign growth and ba colitis issue (diagnosed back in 2015)
overall it's been a nasty year and I'll be glad when it's over.
if I can help with, support you or answer anything else just yell.

You seem like a lovely person @Nightcity sorry to see you've had other health issues and glad it wasn't cancer, we lost my dad in 2008 due to bowl and lung cancer, it spread sadly, there were other issues too but I try not to go into those as I get really ranty about it.
I can imagine, I keep saying that each year lol, last year we lost our Labrador Suzie due to 4 vets incompetence, it made my mental health worse and I've still not really recovered from what they did and us losing her. I was very close to her, she had anxiety just like me and didn't like to go out, just like me, we helped each other, I adored her just as I did our previous dog and furry family members but Suzie was only 7, Calam our collie was almost 16 so although it was still a big loss, we lost him due to him being old, not because of someone's mistakes.
Anyway, I shall shut up for now because that's another topic that also makes me rant.

Thank you @Nightcity , for your feedback. I apologise for my late response only I had to go the supermarket. I can resonate with some of the things you explained. I do get impacted by change . I too feel sick and can be sick . I'm not very keen on talking on the phone to strangers. I avoid alot of people because I can't bare to be in their company. I'm clumsy. Memory issues. Don't always understand what people are telling me . Last one to get the joke . So thank you .

Strawberry, you mention clumsy. Oh yes, never more so than when I'm tired in the evenings - I drop things and bump into things any time of day though! As I'd rather fumble around in the dark than put lights on, I once managed to toss a favourite mug into the bathroom as I was passing and carry a tissue into the kitchenβ¦π€£

π what your other half thinks of your son must be incredibly hurtful. Your son is a part of you and belongs in your life.
The old man sounds resentful and insecure. You're not the problem!
