I'm sorry to hear that @Strawberry1! I know my Crohn's sometimes plays up even when it's not flaring. That's no need to hate yourself though. I know it's painful and frustrating but it's not your fault at all.0
-
Thank you @Jimm_Scope . I'm sorry to hear you have crohns that's not a nice issue to have to deal with . So sorry Jimm . I suppose its just the inconvenience of it that makes me feel that way . Your support means alot. Cheers @Jimm_Scope . A true diamond 🔹.0

Please take care of yourself too @Jimm_Scope please.0

Sorry you're struggling @Strawberry1, stomach issues are never fun.
As Jimm said, it's not your fault you're not well so try not to put yourself down if you can manage it. But I understand how difficult it can be to stay positive when you're feeling rough.
I hope it eases up and you're feeling back to normal soon. Rest up and take care!0 -
@Strawberry1 Don't worry for me, I've had it for over 10 years now and have come quite to terms with it. It also helps that I've been on medication that has put it into remission, for the most part, for a few years now.
It took me many years to accept it though, I did many stupid things (mostly eating things I knew I shouldn't) before I realised I was losing far more through not looking after myself than I was losing through restricting my diet to things that didn't trigger my Crohns.0 -
Thanks @Rosie_Scope , your support means a great deal to me it really is appreciated . Despite having this issue for a while I still don't think I've got my head around it . It's been passed down through the genes so it's something I've inherited. I'm taking things steadily today . Your kindness does mean alot so thank you again. Oh and please take care of yourself please.0

Hi @Jimm_Scope , so glad to hear you have some medication for your crohns and the good effects it can give . I on the other hand was given some medication which unfortunately didn't agree with me and the specialist didn't give me an alternative. If I have a proper flare I get in touch with him and he sends me out a perscrition. I even tried asking my gp if they could prescribe it but they wouldn't. I do have another appointment soon I suppose I could try and see if there are other alternatives but sometimes I get nervous about asking and these days many appointments are done over the phone and they always seem in a rush . I too watch my diet as we both know too well some food is just not worth eating. I wish you all the best and would like to thank you again for all your support it means alot thank you 😊0

So sorry the written piece was so long @Jimm_Scope .0

You don't have to apologise at all @Strawberry1. It's not long, and even if it was long I'd want to read it all because I want to hear how you're doing and hear your thoughts1

I appreciate your time and support it's appreciated. Thanks @Jimm_Scope. You are a gem 💎.0

I think meds take some time to get into our systems . Its the only thing I've had different. I wasn't feeling so good the other day with my IBD and then today I started again . Its actually made me bleed . I'm going to have a break from the meds for a couple of days to see how things go . I was told by the person prescribing them there was no ingredients in them that I would react too unfortunately this isn't the case . I did tell the back specialist I don't tolerate alot of oral meds very well . Do they listen????? Oh oh no they don't lol 😂.0
-
Oh no @Strawberry1! Take it easy. Be sure to keep your medical team informed if you're struggling on the meds, not nice to have side effects! Hope the break sorts things out for you0
-
Hello @Rosie_Scope , thank you for your kindness and support it's appreciated. I will be informing the Gp about the meds on Monday. I'm the same with a lot of meds . I hope you are alright. Please take care of yourself and please be kind to yourself too . God bless you always.0

What's up @Strawberry1? Want to talk about it?
Totally ok if you don't, but we're all here if you need us.0 -
Hi @Albus_Scope , I think I was out of sorts with my abdominal problem. I have many off days with the IBD . I hope you are alright. Thank you so much for your time and support it's appreciated more than you will ever know . Please take care of yourself please.0
-
@Albus_Scope , my son said to me once you seem to complain about stomach ache alot . Not really thinking about it until he said but even sticking to the special diet etc I do still have issues from time to time . I have had a proper diagnosis and I am observed by my specialist but I suppose from time to time it's an issue that I can't help I suppose especially when it's genetic. Thanks again for your time and support. Your a gem 💎. Bless you always.0
