I hope everything goes well with your colonoscopy today @Strawberry1! I know the prep and the hunger can be awful. Make sure you treat yourself after! Any time I have to have a scope it's Pizza for dinner! :D

Everything went well yesterday.  The appointments ran late but no worries 👍.  Tummy is still a bit tender and there's some bleeding which is expected.  Going to rest up .

Just found out I've got a face to face appointment with my IBD specialist.  I'm panicking now . I don't like going to appointments

Just take it nice and easy @Strawberry1, maybe try to put it out of your mind until nearer the time, but I know that can be hard sometimes. Or if you find it helpful, you could try making a list of anything you'd like to talk about with your specialist so you don't have to remember everything on the day. Face to face appointments can be really stressful, but I'm sure your specialist will try to help you feel at ease once you're there :)

Thanks @Rosie_Scope , all done and dusted.  A  chat about my IBD .   I've got an issue which I may have to attend a different hospital for in 6 weeks or so .

Glad it's over and done with @Strawberry1, at least you can relax for a few weeks before your next appointment :)

Sorry to hear you've had an issue, but hopefully they can help you at the other hospital and get you sorted. Well done for getting through it, sounds like you have a good excuse to treat yourself to something nice now!

My stomach is churning after having a text from DWP about a review.  It's nothing to write home about at the moment but there's a possibility I could start with a flare up because I will be stressed about the whole process.

Living with IBD isn't the best is it . I did recently have a endoscopy and nothing alarming showed up but that doesn't mean any of the symptoms disappear does it . Up to present I've been to the toilet 5 times since I got up . There is a possibility I will have to go again. I'm not in any pain or anything but my tummy seems bubbly . What's is going through my mind is how would something like that be sorted if my pip was taken away and I was asked to get a job ? Do employers accept these things ?

I don't feel like I have control over my IBD situation. I think my digestive system has a mind of its own. I've had days when I've had to sit on the toilet for 30 mins or even more . I always say I can't trust anything to do with that department. I suppose its because I've got my pip review coming up and I'm worrying . Sorry.

Sorry you're having such a rough time of it with your IBD @Strawberry1, sometimes stress can make these things worse, but it's not your fault that you're suffering. If you're having a really hard time managing your symptoms, do you have anyone you can contact about it? Your doctor or someone on your medical team? And no need to apologise, it's good to have a big rant and get things off your chest! Hope things start feeling easier soon. ❤️

Thank you @Rosie_Scope , I appreciate your kindness. Yes if it starts to get really bad I have someone I can call . I think the symptoms are settling a bit now. Yes stress is a big common thing with IBD . Thank you again much appreciated. 💖 . Take care of yourself too .
